I had to take out a student loan.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Last year’s resolutions:
1. Pay off credit card from TheEvilCompany. Done.
2. Go visit the cemetery on a more regular basis, and pray that that helps the creeping depression. Uhm. No.
3. Read more scholarly stuff, like the stuff related to my degree. Heh. No.
4. Not smoke again. Going very well.
5. Learn more Latin/Greek/Hebrew. I did the Latin part for class.
6. Budget better. Uh, Kinda…
7. Buy a house so I can get a dog. No. Didn’t work out.
8. Read more outside what I usually pick up. Sort of.

I haven’t decided about 2008 resolutions.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
I don’t think so… I can’t think of anything I know who did.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Hum, no.

5. What countries did you visit?
None, I didn’t have the time or the money to leave the country. I did go to California. That was interesting.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
I’d like to buy a house. But I know it’s not going to happen. The housing market here is horrible. Not the most horrible, I think the third worst place to try to sell a house though.

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Uhm, spending a week in California.

A ridiculous number of colds and whatnot and this thing that I have right now that basically caused me to sleep three days away, and breaking my toe.  again.

A new and spiffy laptop. And a second world of warcraft account

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

Politicians, Islamists, the president of Iran whose name I can’t seem to spell, what’s-his-name-in-Pakistan.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent, school, new family hearse, and repairing Lucky (2001 mercury Mystique.)

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The movie version of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Sweeny Todd, the 7th HP book, Charlie Wilson’s War, not so new job, and a NEW CAR!!. The beast really needed to be retired.

16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
Probably something from the newest Linkin Park album, Minutes to Midnight, especially the song The Little Things give you Away.

Write for me, read for pleasure, and read for academic stuff. Seen more of Doc.

Playing WoW, getting caught up in the drama that has brought. Spent less time worrying about a house and more time fixing what has been holding us back..

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With the majority of my mom’s Clan. And my brother’s gf’s family, and .. and… you get the idea. Everyone we could fit with only two people missing.

Only with a book.

22. How many one-night stands?
Funny, but no.

A house. And a dog.

29. What was your favorite film of this year?
It’s a tossup between The Kingdom and Charlie Wilson’s War for the more intense films. I loved HP5, National Treasure 2, and Beowulf, oh my god, and pirates 3. As much as it made me sad.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 25, and I worked. We went out to dinner later in the week, and I don’t remember otherwise.

Not waiting until the end of time for the Bossman and the Harbinger of DOOM to work things out.

The boyos who sit near me in class.

39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
you say
my broken heart becomes me
I say
I’d sell it cheap to you
